Helping an overweight child or teen is frequently a daunting task, made more difficult by the fact that parents simply too often don’t know how to go about it.  Easy weight loss for teens is not the same as healthy weight loss, and when it comes to your children nothing less than healthy weight loss should be the objective.  Unfortunately, pediatricians too often tell parents of overweight kids to just cut down on portions and get their kids moving.  That won’t work either:   Chances are they’ll just be eating less of what got them overweight in the first place.

To GUIDE parents not only in what and how to feed their children, but to impart to them the importance of including their children in the process, thereby enabling them to take responsibility for their own well-being and achieving success.

To ENCOURAGE parents of an overweight child to practice what we are preaching to their child, to set the example for their child, to make it a 'family affair.'

Healthy Diets for Overweight Children
At Weight*No*More Diet CenterSM we work with parents and their children to plan personal daily menus.  Taking into account both the parent’s and child’s schedules, as well as the child’s age, and medical issues, if any, counselors will generate customized eating plans, including what to eat, how much to eat, and what time to eat, as well as provide cooking tips and recipes.

Our web site’s Kidzville is a fun place where kids of all ages——through interactive games, reading recommendations, coloring pages, and a kid’s perspective at ‘Kids Eye View’——can come to learn about eating right and why that is so important.
